Hookin2Hockey is Hockey Australia's Juniors Entry Program. With an emphasis on fun, the program offers kids the perfect opportunity to get out, make friends, and play.

It is a fun and safe program to introduce Pre-Primary to Year 2 players to the great game of hockey

  • Through the course of the program, you will develop new hockey skills and build fundamental motor skills

  • Hookin2Hockey is all inclusive - everyone is welcome to get involved

  • Players learn the game in a safe environment with modified equipment

  • Everyone develops at their own speed - Hookin2Hockey activities are designed to allow players to develop their skills at their own pace

Hockey Nines

Hockey Nines is designed for young players in Year 3 & 4 as an introduction to formal competition but is not graded or scored to provide an enjoyable environment for the children involved. There are elements of game play and coaching throughout each session with rules being introduced to get the young Cygnet’s ready for Juniors hockey.

All HookIn2Hockey sessions and Hockey 9’s are ran on Saturday mornings with coaches who hold active working with children checks.

Short Corner Cafe

The Short Corner Café is our Café at Charles Riley Reserve. It is open every Saturday morning with coffee, bacon and egg sandwiches and a selection of goodies to keep all the parents functioning during the HookIn2Hockey Sessions. It is located in the club rooms so be sure to check it out and get your hands on some lovely snacks and beverages each session.
