Registration and Fees

How it Works

Welcome to the North Coast Raiders Hockey Club as a new member or you are returning; welcome, or welcome back! We use the Hockey WA “Revo” systems to register and pay as a player for NCR AND the Hockey WA & Hockey Australia fees in the one, single step system.

You cannot play hockey for North Coast Raiders until you complete the full registration.

Fee Structure

What is included in your fee payment:

  1. Payment of the Hockey Australia (HA) Levy & player insurance coverage. This fee is imposed on members and must be paid at registration time.
  2. Base fee – registration and payment as a player with North Coast Raiders (no pay, no play).   Please note that our Registration fees have not increased since 2019
  3. Credit card & processing fees if you choose this option; these fees are set by Hockey WA. There is also an option to pay by Bank Transfer to avoid paying these fees.

The total fee payable is calculated as (1) Base Fee + (2) Hockey Australia (HA) Levy & player insurance coverage + (3) Credit card & processing fees. See the breakdown of each fee below.

(2) The Hockey Australia (HA) Levy & player insurance coverage fees are:

  • Player under 9 Yrs:  $20
  • Player 9-18 Yrs:  $42.50
  • Player 19 yrs. & over:  $54.50
  • Coach, umpire, match official, volunteer or social member:  No Fee
  • Note: All ages are as at 31st December.

(3) Credit card processing fees are calculated as 2% + 0.60c for each transaction. 

Please note:

  • You only need to register once even if playing in multiple competitions (e.g., Weekend Grass & Midweek Turf).

All payments are processed online using a credit card / debit card to pay.  There is an option to pay via bank transfer.

Payment options are:

  1. Full payment, at time of registration, or
  2. Payment Plan, where you pay the NCR registration fee over a 3 month period PLUS a processing fee of $20. Please note that the system will NOT automatically deduct payments from your nominated credit card. You will instead receive an invoice via email each month (on the day you registered) requesting payment. Please also check your Junk folder for this email if you decide on a payment plan.

Fees must be paid before the 1st June.   Fees will increase by 10% from 1st June (except those on Payment Plans started prior to this date).

Further Information

KidSport

Local councils are again supporting the KidSport program. If you have a concession card, the program will pay for registration fees up to $150 for each eligible child from 5-18 years.  Please register online HERE.  Once you complete your online KidSport application, please email the token you receive to the Treasurer at treasurer@northcoastraiders.club.  They will submit an invoice for payment to be paid to the club of $150 for each child.  The Treasurer will then contact you for details on how to provide the refund.

HookIn2Hockey (Yrs 1 & 2)

Hin2H registration fees encompasses two components:

$15 Registration feeOur newly introduced “Bring a Friend” offer enables your $15 registration fee to be refunded in full (you must contact the Registrar at registrar@northcoastraiders.club to request and provide information to support your claim) if your friend is new to NCR and attends 4 or more consecutive sessions.  Your friend pays the full Registration Fee.  This will be monitored via our attendance record which is to be utilised at the start of each session.
$25 Uniform feeIncludes an exclusive shirt and a pair of socks.  Please select the Uniform Fee as an “Add-on” on the first registration screen.  If you have purchased an NCR shirt previously you are welcome to continue to wear this and therefore do not need to take advantage of the uniform fee.  Please note that wearing a uniform is compulsory.

Yrs 3 /4

Yrs 3/4 registration fees encompasses two components:

Juniors Playing Senior Grades

For Juniors that choose to play in Senior Grades, in conjunction with their Junior game, for development, the following fee structure applies:

  • 1st Year playing Seniors – FREE.
  • 2nd Year playing Seniors – $100 (this fee will be refunded if the Junior plays 4 games or less in Seniors).
  • To be paid upfront (as an “Add-on” at Registration time.
  • If applicable, i.e., played 4 games or less, refunded at the end of season upon application to the Registrar registrar@northcoastraiders.com.

Casual Registration

Available for up to 6 games only.  Then per each game a payment of $30 for up to an additional 6 games up to 12 in total.  Should you play more than 12 games you are classified as a full-time member of the club and therefore must pay full fees.  The registrar will contact you for the additional payment once you play your 13th game.

Refunds

A refund of 50% of full fees will be paid if a player is injured and plays 6 games or less during the season.  Full refunds (less an administrative fee of $30) are payable on withdrawal prior to the end of July if no games have been played.

Student / Apprentice

Students or apprentices must present their current year enrolment evidence or apprenticeship paperwork if requested.

Coaches

Any player who is also coaching must register and pay as a player first unless alternative arrangements have been made with the Registrar registrar@northcoastraidershockey.club or a NCR Board Member. 

If you are Coaching but not playing, then please register as a Coach (non-Playing). Please note that ALL coaches or volunteers who are assisting a junior team will need a current Working with Children clearance unless it is with a team that your child is a part of.

TeamApp

Your details will be cross-referenced with our TeamApp database and club communications sent via TeamApp.  Find us on TeamApp – search for “North Coast Raiders HC”.  TeamApp is the club’s primary platform for communication particularly for Juniors and it is therefore key that all registered players (and parents) ensure that their Team App account and contact information is correct and up to date.
