Club History

North Coast Raiders Hockey Club traces its heritage back to 1903 when the Perth Hockey Club was a founding club of hockey in WA.  The North Coast Raiders Hockey Club was established in 1988 from an amalgamation of the Perth Hockey Club and Scarborough Hockey Club, established in 1953. The North Coast Raiders Hockey Club has a strong tradition of success over a long period. It is an inclusive club, with male and female players from the age of five through to over 70. The club caters to all player abilities, ranging from elite to social teams.

North Coast Raiders offers the complete package.  We have Senior Women’s and Men’s teams ranging from Premier League through to Provisional and Metro Competitions. We also cater for our small cygnet swans, from five years of age in our Hookin2Hockey program, through to our own home based under 9’s competition and a highly successful junior program with 17 teams for ages 10 to 18. In addition, we also have four Masters (veterans) men’s weekend teams in over 40’s & 50’s, and three Masters midweek teams (men & women over 35’s). So no matter your age or skill level, North Coast Raiders Hockey Club has something to offer for you!

At North Coast Raiders, we pride ourselves on being the complete package and a club for life. We focus on the development of our juniors, both in their playing skills through various coaching clinics, and their umpiring skills. We also don’t mind the occasional social function, with our ever popular Gourmet Thursday BBQ for the whole club going down a treat, all the way to our popular theme nights and touring parties.

So come on down to The Swan Pond at Charles Riley Reserve where you’ll be a Raider for life!

North Coast Raiders Hockey Club acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land we play on and we pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. It is a privilege for our club to be on Whadjuk (Whad-Juk) Nyoongar country.
